The Role

You will be responsible for :

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxesHelp with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls auditAssess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions Maintaining account receivable, document bills and supporting documentation Updating financial records via accounting software Analyzing financial statements and prepare balance sheets Review the accounts of companies and other organizations to ensure their financial records are correct and in line with the law.Ensuring that assets are protected.Undertaking reviews of wages.Determining taxable income, applicable tax deductions, and nontaxable expenses.Filing of VAT as per Oman law.Cross verifies the product invoices entered into the software.

Ideal Profile

You have at least 1 year experience within a Payroll Accountant role, ideally within the Staffing / Executive Search industry.You have working knowledge of tally erp 9You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical dataYou are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environmentsYou are a strong team player who can manage multiple stakeholdersYou are willing to undertake more than 60% travel.
