JOB DESCRIPTION Implement quality standards in all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to always adhere to required hygiene standards.Determining, negotiating and agreeing in-house quality procedures, standards and specificationsSpecifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliersInvestigating and setting standards for quality, health and safetyResponsible for effective and efficient maintenance of records.Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international levelWorking with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, systems and proceduresActing as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/qualityMonitoring performance, inspection and supervising the relevant staff.Maintain, monitors, assists and performs all procedures and protocols for maintaining an excellent sanitation and hygienic environmentContinually liaises with external agencies (laboratory and government authorities etc.)Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials.Reject all the incoming raw materials fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines.Provide training to the production and relevant team members.Perform tests on water to detect harmful microorganisms and to obtain information about sources of pollution and contamination as per SOP.Examine physiological, morphological and cultural characteristics using microscope to identify and classify microorganisms in water specimens.Prepare technical reports and recommendations based upon research outcomes.Physical and chemical parameters of water samples.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or equivalent relevant qualifications5-10 years of experience as QAQC (Preferably in bottled water industry)Vast experience in laboratory, Quality inspection, auditing and testing experienceExperience with implementation of corrective action programsKnowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QAExperience in Calibration and maintenance of equipment as per SOP.Highly skilled in Microbiology Terminology and Techniques.Expert in physical, chemical and microbiological analysis of water portability testing as per GSO/ISO/HACCP standards.Knowledge about the relevant regulatory requirements e.g. GSO, ISO, HACCP etc.Extra Certifications will be added extra advantage including Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma, HACCP Implementation, ISO etc.Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databasesShould be fluent in English languageRemuneration & Reporting: Reporting to: Production Manager/General ManagerSalary Range: 400 to 500 OMR (As per experience & capability)Sharing bachelor accommodation and food will be providedMedical Insurance & Group Life/WC will be providedAnnual Paid leave for 30 days & Return Air Ticket to home country would be given once in a year.Working days: 6 days a week with Friday OFF.Job Location: Al Khoud, Muscat, Oman (Omani Employment Visa will be provided) Job Type: Full-time Salary: RO400.000 - RO500.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate: Muscat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Application Question(s): Do you have QAQC work experience in Water Company in OMAN???Do you have Vast experience in the laboratory, Quality inspection, auditing, and testing experience ??Do you have Knowledge about the relevant regulatory requirements e.g. GSO, ISO, HACCP, etc???Are you an Expert in physical, chemical, and microbiological analysis of water portability testing as per GSO/ISO/HACCP standards?Say "YES" If you agree on our salary budget tarts from 400 to 500 OMR?How many years of experience do you have as a QAQC in Oman???What is your Nationality?
