About the role Our team is growing in Oman and we are looking to hire Designers (Technicians) to support across Oil and Gas projects.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below: Prepare detailed engineering drawings and calculation of quantities for statutory submission. Prepare detail engineering drawings during all design phases, including FEED, Detail design stages etc. Produce 3D model of all Civil and Structural works of plant super-structure and sub-structure facilities. Produce Presentable and accurate drawings, including a consistency check, modification of existing drawings. Liaising with other disciplines to ensure designs are coordinated with other discipline requirements. Understand the Company quality management system and ensure these requirements are met and implemented in projects. Undertake surveys necessary to develop area of work assigned

Candidate Specification

Engineering diploma in Civil Engineering with experience in consultancy background preferably in the field of Oil and gas engineering Experience in detailed design of Oil and gas facilities. Extensive knowledge in drafting works for oil and gas facilities, involving rotating/static equipments foundations, facilities, buildings, support structures using computerised tools. To be well versed in preparation of layouts, details etc. for concrete, structural steel, reinforcement layout and detail drawings etc. Familiar with Concrete and Structural steel work detailing. Proficient in 2D drafting software like AutoCAD etc. Experience in Bentley MicroStation will be added advantage. Proficient in 3D software like PDMS, E3D etc. Experience in AutoDesk Civil 3D, Revit etc. will be added advantage. Proficient in the preparation of Bar Bending schedules, calculation of quantities etc. Proficient in the use of AutoDesk Navisworks or similar softwares for reviews. Familiar with digital delivery and soft-copy management. Familiar with BIM tools and delivery of projects in BIM.
