Scope of Position
The IT Manager is responsible for managing all local systems and services in the Hotel which includes networks and telephony, hardware, operating systems, guest-facing technologies, information security and all related systems. It is the IT Manager\xe2\x80\x99s role to provide user training and support of all property systems, network enhancements, hardware and software support. Additionally, to maintain an inventory of all hardware products and software licenses, and reviews maintenance agreements.
Responsibilities Hardware Servers, Workstations and Handheld Devices Active and Passive Components of the Network and Cable Plant Printers, Scanners and other peripherals connected to the hotel LAN Software Operating System, Network Administration Tools Remote Access, Terminal Servers, VPN Office Automation and Productivity Hotel Specific Core Applications Interfaces and Integration Applications Desktop tools and applications Local management as required of Intranet and ASP Applications Telecommunication PABX, Attendant Console, Handsets Mobile phones and cordless connections Call Accounting Voice Mail Paging System Audio and Video Conferencing Active and Passive Components of the Cable Plant In Room Entertainment System [IRES)
Audio Equipment Active and Passive Components of the Cable Plant High Speed internet Access [HSIA) Guestrooms Meeting and Function Rooms Business Center Public Areas Audio / Video Systems Guestrooms Meeting and Function Rooms (internal meetings only) BGM systems for Restaurants, Bars and Public areas Digital Signages Proven experience as AV Technician Ability to transport, set up and fix equipment Knowledge of camera and lighting techniques and editing software Must be creative and flexible with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues and clients, often under deadline pressure Proficient with computer systems used in multimedia production, word processing skills Able to sit and stand for long periods of time and have good hearing and eyesight Advanced technical skills, ability to repair equipment and learn new technology High school diploma or GED and/or an associate\'s degree Advertised: 15 Mar 2023 Arabian Standard Time
