Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information and create periodic reports.
  • Summarize the current financial status by collecting information and prepare balance sheets profit and loss statements and other reports as required or requested.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information into the system and substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information and recommend financial actions case-by-case.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and report on these findings on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
  • Provide specialized financial information to management by researching and analyzing industry trends (locally, regionally and internationally) and present this data to managers, investors, and other entities as required.
  • Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities, answering questions, and offering support and guidance as required.
  • Keep up to date and comply with all company, local, state, and governmental accounting and financial regulations and and advise management if action if required.
  • Ensure that all accounting practices fall within the company's policies and procedures and update and/or recommending policies and procedures where necessary.
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls and ensure that all financial information is secured by completing database backups.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, or a similar major is required
  • A master's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of five years' experience in accounting/finance is required
Need to Have.

  • Follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Exhibits strong technical accounting knowledge
  • Knows how to use popular accounting software
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in both Arabic and English in all aspects of both languages
