Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Help Desk Specialist to manage and support all IT-related activities across the company. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the organization's technology systems, resolving technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and supporting users on hardware, software, and network-related concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support to employees on hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other tech equipment.
- Troubleshoot system failures, diagnose hardware/software issues, and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain and monitor company network, internet connectivity, and internal servers.
- Set up user accounts, email configurations, and access permissions.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset register.
- Manage and ensure proper functioning of CCTV, IP phones, time attendance systems, and other IT tools.
- Liaise with external vendors for system updates, equipment servicing, and IT procurement.
- Ensure company data is backed up and implement basic cybersecurity measures.
- Support in onboarding/offboarding employees from a technical access perspective.
- Document issues and solutions for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation and integration of new IT systems and software.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proven experience in IT support/help desk or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and network configurations.
- Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and IP telephony systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certifications are a plus.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- 4-6 years of relevant IT support experience.
- Fluent in English & Arabic.
- Proactive, dependable, and service-oriented.
- Able to work independently and respond to emergencies when needed.
