Job Description

Technical Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  1. Development of technical specifications and designs of structures, poles, cross arms, and foundations, including static calculations according to production possibilities.
  2. Participate as a team member in specific phases of engineering assignments, ensuring compliance with standards, best practices, and quality assurance.
  3. Collaborate with the leadership team on project assessment, cost estimation, and align work with the organization's strategic vision, core values, and leadership competencies.
  4. Establish communication links between the factory and suppliers regarding technical aspects.
  5. Support the sales department in preparing technical documents, presentations, and tenders.
  6. Manage technical projects effectively.
  7. Engage in research and development related to factory products and technologies, and update on investment projects and new innovations.
  8. Analyze costs and prepare necessary documentation for management.
  9. Document and archive technical documents, including designs, drawings, and static calculations.
  10. Assist customers by providing prompt technical suggestions.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
  • Fresher candidates are welcome.
  • Omani male candidates are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Overhead Lines (OHL) is essential.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, especially MS Office; knowledge of MATLAB; AutoCAD is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Energetic, self-confident, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
