The school follows the UK national curriculum. The student compliment consists of 60% local students and 40% international students. High profile students attend this school and go on to achieve well in International Universities.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement engaging lessons based on the UK curriculum.
2. Monitor and assess students' progress, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
3. Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment, fostering a love of learning.
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school leadership team.
5. Teach Secondary classes to A Level.

School Requirements:

1. Fully qualified with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualifying experience.
2. Experience teaching A Level courses is desirable.
3. Must have a Bachelors Degree in History, Sociology or Education and PGCE in Secondary Teaching. (Candidates must have matching qualifications and a first degree in teaching subject to qualify).
4. Experience of UK curriculum preferred with complete QTS and Induction.
5. Previous EAL experience advantageous.
6. Able to deliver active and engaging lessons.
7. Display an energetic, positive attitude which will create a warm and engaging atmosphere to advance students' physical, mental, and emotional development.

1. Tax-free salary from 1,400 - 1,650 Omani Rials per month (dependent on experience).
