Location: AdLife Hospital, Al Amerat

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Ophthalmologist to join our growing team at AdLife Hospital, Al Amerat. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage various eye conditions and provide expert medical and surgical care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations to diagnose eye diseases and vision problems
• Prescribe corrective lenses and medication
• Perform minor and major ophthalmic surgical procedures
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up for surgical patients
• Manage chronic eye diseases like glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic retinopathy
• Collaborate with optometrists and other medical staff for patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Educate patients on eye care and preventive practices
• Participate in CME activities, case discussions, and departmental meetings

Qualifications & Requirements:

• MBBS with specialization in Ophthalmology (MS/MD/DNB or equivalent)
• Valid MOH Oman license or eligibility (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to quality patient care and ethical medical practice
