Job Summary

An Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels, preventing stock outs and overstocking, and ensuring efficient inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, track stock movements, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, optimize stock levels, and minimize waste.
  • Work with logistics, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure accurate inventory forecasting and management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes and implement changes to increase efficiency.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Certificate
  • 0-2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory records and reporting.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
