Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedHydraulic Technicianto join our dynamic service team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems on a wide range of Volvo heavy equipment. Crucially, this role requires aminimum of five (5) yearsof hands-on experience specifically within authorized Volvo dealerships, demonstrating a deep understanding of Volvo's proprietary diagnostic tools, systems, and repair procedures withTechnical degreein the Age group of30-35

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform complex diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic systems of Volvo heavy equipment, including excavators, wheel loaders, articulated haulers, compactors, and more.
    • Utilize Volvo-specific diagnostic software (e.g., Volvo Tech Tool, VIDA) and specialized tools to accurately identify hydraulic faults.
      • Conduct comprehensive repairs, overhauls, and replacements of hydraulic components such as pumps, motors, valves, cylindersand accumulators.
        • Read and interpret complex hydraulic schematicsand technical manuals.
          • Document all diagnostic findings, repairs performed, parts used, and hours worked accurately and efficiently using dealership management systems.
            • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
              • Stay up-to-date with the latest Volvo service bulletins, product updates, and technical training.
                • Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts department, and customers regarding repair status and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of verifiable hands-on experience as a Hydraulic Technician specifically with Volvo heavy equipment within an authorized Volvo dealership.
    • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, components, and circuitry.
      • Proficiency in using Volvo diagnostic software (e.g., Volvo Tech Tool, VIDA) and specialized Volvo tooling.
        • Ability to read and interpret complex hydraulic schematics.
          • Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing electrical systems related to hydraulic controls.
            • Relevant technical certification or diploma in heavy equipment mechanics, hydraulics, or a related field.
              • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
                • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
                  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
                    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
