Key Accountabilities:

  1. Conduct audit in accordance with the audit plan
  2. Monitor and control the audit assistants to ensure assigned tasks are completed within the allotted time frame
  3. Execute the audit programs and collect appropriate audit evidence
  4. Ensure work papers, audit conclusions and audit file are prepared in accordance with the Unit's standards
  5. Provide valuable written input to the Senior Auditor for inclusion in the audit report
  6. As part of the team involved in Financial Statement review, execute the assigned area in accordance with unit's standards
  7. Write reports where required and assist the audit team on special assignments and investigations
  8. Assist in preparation of Internal Audit Plan and work with business owners to implement audit recommendations
  9. Maintain knowledge of all latest developments in IFRS and other new areas related to Internal Audit profession
  10. Assist in preparing various reports in accordance with audit plan as requested by Audit Committee and management and perform other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

  1. Good time management skills
  2. Good knowledge of International Auditing Standards
  3. Good knowledge of Accounting / Audit

Education / Certifications:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
  2. Professional certification in accountancy/ CIA is preferred

Experience:

  1. Minimum of 4 - 6 years' experience in a similar role
