Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in Khasab, Oman. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings. Your duties will include reading blueprints and drawings, cutting and assembling pipes, fittings, and fixtures, and performing tests to ensure proper functioning of the systems.

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2 years of experience as a Plumber and possess strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations. You must also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand plumbing system layout
  • Install pipes and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, bathtubs, water heaters, etc.
  • Cut openings in walls or floors for pipes using hand or power tools
  • Measure, cut and thread pipes using hand or power tools
  • Join pipes using fittings, soldering or welding techniques
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues such as leaks or clogs
  • Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning parts such as pipes or fixtures
  • Perform tests on systems to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments
  • Follow safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma/GED required; vocational training is a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Plumber
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Physically fit with good manual dexterity
  • Valid driver's license preferred
