Afkar Investment is a growing multi-brand company managing a diverse portfolio across F&B and fashion. Our brands—including Glacier Café, Black Haze, Drink Me, Wink, and Libasi—are built on creativity, quality, and customer experience. As we scale, we're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support financial operations and ensure accuracy across all our business units.

About the Role:

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the financial health of our brands. This role spans financial reporting, operational accounting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure we maintain strong financial foundations for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities:


• Maintain accurate records for all business units (F&B and Fashion)


• Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) on a monthly and quarterly basis


• Analyze data to identify cost-saving and growth opportunities


• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Accounting & Compliance


• Ensure compliance with Omani tax regulations, VAT, and financial reporting standards


• Manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and monitor cash flow


• Liaise with auditors and support during audits and financial reviews

Operational Accounting


• Monitor inventory, supplier payments, and COGS across F&B and fashion operations


• Support financial software implementation and system improvements

Collaboration & Internal Support


• Work with operations teams to enhance financial efficiency


• Assist HR with payroll, reconciliations, and benefits calculations


• Provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making

What We're Looking For:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and Omani regulations


• Experience working across multi-brand or multi-unit businesses is a plus


• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel


• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with excellent communication skills
