Overview

Job Title: Staff Nurse

Location: Muscat, Oman

Experience: 3 to 10 years

Education: GNM or BSc Nursing

Responsibilities
  • Analyze, observe and record the client\'s basic wellness conditions.
  • Coordinate with medical professionals and multidisciplinary care specialists to develop and review personalized treatment plans.
  • Address the emotional and psychological needs of clients and their families to foster a harmonious working atmosphere.
  • Analyze client\'s signs and symptoms, identify illnesses accurately, and take appropriate actions for active recovery.
  • Maintain documents and reports of patient case histories and monitor progress in health status.
  • Be alert and observant in all aspects of patient care, including diet, exercise, and psychosocial communications.
  • Educate clients and their families on health care and illness prevention as needed.
  • Administer medicines and therapies as prescribed.
  • Review drugs and treatments in light of the patient\'s general health and response to treatment.
  • Prepare patients for clinical exams and surgery.
  • Aid physicians and surgeons during invasive and noninvasive treatments and medical procedures.
  • Complete laboratory work as required and update the team about the patient\'s condition during anesthesia as advised.
  • Ensure a hygienic and safe workplace in compliance with health care procedures and interventions.
  • Follow organizational plans, procedures and laws, and maintain accurate medical records.
Qualifications
  • GNM or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing).
  • 3 to 10 years of relevant nursing experience.
  • Ability to analyze symptoms, plan care, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
