Job Purpose

To enhance the relationship value of the customers and to acquire new customers by providing customer-oriented wealth management solutions, through an established process.

Key Tasks and Duties

  1. Undertakes ownership and full accountability for sales volumes and profitability within assigned area of business.
  2. Develops new business relationships with HNWI and institutions.
  3. Manages all aspects of account management, including responding to client enquiries, periodic review of portfolios, making recommendations and acting as the primary contact for the client base.
  4. Builds and manages the Product and Advisory function within the Wealth / Private Banking domain.
  5. Provides advisory support to the RMs.
  6. Works with AMCs to set up Wealth Product Distribution.
  7. Develops Structured Products with third-party providers and works with internal and external stakeholders in obtaining the required approvals for distribution.
  8. Helps build passive income streams (Trail fee and NII).
  9. Collaborates with other functions within the bank and helps create policies (especially related to Operational Risk and Governance).
  10. Creates Performance Scorecards and Content for Senior Management.
  11. Attains established individual, department, and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs.
  12. Tracks and analyses trends and makes recommendations to senior management.
  13. Provides a superior level of customer relations and service.
  14. Maintains a list of allocated accounts.
  15. Provides superior advice and a high level of customer service to all potential and current clients.
  16. Assesses the individual client's needs and tolerance to risk and offers the optimal product solutions.
  17. Ensures that all client accounts are monitored and maintained.
  18. Screens client accounts to establish adequate diversification subject to client agreement.
  19. Generates reports on an ongoing basis.
  20. Represents the business in review of business by the Fiduciary committee, providing updates on the portfolio, reviewing risk, and ensuring compliance with internal and external policies on the sale of investment products at all times.
  21. Follows all audit and compliance procedures and adheres to bank policies & procedures.
  22. Designs asset allocation plans for investment portfolios with the bank.
  23. Plans client events with various fund houses and AMCs to increase client engagement.
  24. Sets up a product roadmap that will be mapped to the revenue target.
  25. Introduces a beat plan to cover client meetings with the RMs; morning market updates with RMs.
  26. Designs a Product Risk matrix that will be in line with client risk profiles.
  27. Designs a revenue model across investment products like Bonds, Mutual Funds & notes to generate NFI in line with the market.
  28. Generates footings growth by generating NTB Clients through various models like referrals.
  29. Designs a strategy to map existing deposit Sadara clients to Investments, thereby increasing the AUM.
  30. Establishes contracts with AMCs to extend product offerings on Leverage & increase product offerings like direct equity investment and real estate investments in Global markets.
  31. Schedules regular meetings with the regulators (CBO) to establish good rapport for the bank.
  32. Trains the RMs on investment products and supports them to get them certified through CISI.

Academic and Professional Qualification

Qualifications

  • Graduate with a degree in Banking, Finance, or a related subject.
  • CFA or CISI qualification would be an added advantage.

Experience

At least 6-7 years in banking with a relationship role. An excellent working knowledge of Banking products and marketing is required, along with person-to-person skills, planning ability, analytical and problem-solving skills. Other attributes required are:

  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Good office technology skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Good spoken Arabic is preferable.
  • Good presentation skills.
