We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team. As a front-line representative of our café, you'll be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining our café's warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks with precision and consistency.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and answering coffee-related questions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and customer seating areas.
  • Manage opening and closing duties, including equipment checks and restocking.
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
  • Calibrate coffee equipment and monitor grind settings to ensure optimal extraction.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in specialty coffee.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a barista in a specialty coffee setting (1+ year preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of brewing methods: espresso, pour-over, Chemex, AeroPress, etc.
  • Skilled in milk texturing and latte art.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of coffee origins, flavor profiles, and roasting levels is a plus.
