Baker

Location: Tourist camp in the Bidiyah Desert, Oman

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our culinary team at a remote desert tourist camp in Oman. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality baked goods for our guests and staff while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts daily

Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all baked goods

Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet production needs

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area

Adapt recipes to accommodate guest dietary requirements

Required Profile:

Professional baking experience

Training from culinary school or equivalent work experience

Knowledge of various baking techniques and international recipes

Ability to work in a remote desert environment

Language : Good English (Arabic or Hindi is an advantage)

Contract Duration:

9 months of work / 3 months of paid leave per year
