Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer with strong expertise in SharePoint 2019 administration and custom development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and managing SharePoint solutions, webparts, and workflows using both server-side (C#) and client-side technologies. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, and Nintex platforms is essential. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing SharePoint-based solutions. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, optimizing farm performance, and troubleshooting technical issues.

Key responsibilities

  1. Manage and support SharePoint 2019 administration and development.
  2. Provide support for all SharePoint portals and custom services.
  3. Develop custom webparts using server-side (mainly C#) and client-side technologies.
  4. Utilize technologies such as HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, and ASP.NET for custom SharePoint development.
  5. Ensure SharePoint applications comply with company policies, standards, and security protocols.
  6. Design, develop, and implement custom SharePoint solutions, workflows, and applications.
  7. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver SharePoint-based solutions.
  8. Understand SharePoint architecture including web front-end, application, and database servers.
  9. Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal SharePoint farm performance.
  10. Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and performance problems.
  11. Create and manage the SharePoint Services Portfolio as part of the solution strategy.
  12. Design and implement information architecture plans.
  13. Develop training materials and conduct user training as needed.
  14. Conduct regression testing and content mitigation.
  15. Consult with teams to review and test content, identifying necessary mitigation strategies.
  16. Lead or contribute to projects focused on redesign and upgrade of SharePoint features.
  17. Analyse, design, develop, and implement solutions using Nintex platforms.
  18. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing Nintex workflows.

Criteria for the ideal candidate

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint development and administration.
  3. Highly skilled SharePoint professional with a solid background in SharePoint 2019 development and administration.
  4. Should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and technical expertise.
  5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  6. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical teams and business users.
  7. Ability to manage project deadlines, track time, and communicate progress in a timely manner.
  8. Proficiency in collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Preferred experience

  1. Proven experience with SharePoint 2019.
  2. Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  3. Hands-on experience with custom webparts, workflows, and SharePoint solutions.
  4. Familiarity with Nintex platform for developing and managing workflows.
  5. Deep understanding of SharePoint architecture, site collections, permissions, and content databases.
  6. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and integration with SharePoint.
  7. Proficiency in using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, and PowerShell scripting.

Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer/Administrator or related certifications.

Work Location Requirement: Candidate should be willing to work onsite at the client location in Oman. Infonyx will provide the following support:
