We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team at a specialized rehabilitation center in Sohar, Oman. This role is ideal for a therapist with a strong background in mental health and addiction recovery, who is passionate about empowering individuals to regain independence and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
• Design and implement individualized, goal-oriented occupational therapy plans.
• Address challenges in activities of daily living (ADLs), work skills, social participation, and sensory integration.
• Apply evidence-based interventions to promote self-regulation, coping strategies, and functional recovery.
• Collaborate with medical, psychological, and peer support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Supervise junior therapists or therapy assistants as needed.
• Document clinical progress and outcomes in compliance with organizational standards.
• Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in mental health, addiction recovery, or neuro-rehabilitation.
• Eligible for licensing in Oman or GCC countries (licensing support provided after hiring).
• Strong clinical judgment and familiarity with trauma-informed, patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Arabic proficiency is an asset but not mandatory.
• Prior international or multicultural experience is a plus.
