Effectively organize, teach, and evaluate student performance and progress in assigned courses in accordance with the established curriculum.
b. Prepare and present lessons in (Electrical / Instrumentation) courses and conduct both classroom and laboratory activities.
c. Maintain course curriculum and provide student guides for all courses taught.
d. Design and implement teaching methodologies for classroom and laboratory activities that develop the required competencies of the students.
e. Arrange workshops for student practical experiences and monitor progress.
f. Assist in requesting, coordinating, and maintaining instructional equipment and supplies.
g. Prepare and administer examinations and other evaluation tools.
h. Evaluate and record student performance and progress.
i. Assist in developing new courses and revising existing courses and instructional materials to ensure program growth and development.
j. Ensure high standards in course materials and delivery are maintained.
Business Area Activities- Obtain and maintain international accreditation.
- Maintain contact with industry groups regarding training needs and update courses accordingly.
- Engage in professional development and stay current with trends.
- Assist in budgeting processes.
- Advise students on academic matters and related concerns.
- Encourage student participation in professional organizations and community activities.
- Exhibit leadership skills, including motivation and management.
- Exercise independent judgment and deal effectively with problems.
- Maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and administrators.
- Prepare and review curriculum according to international standards.
- Deliver classroom, practical, and on-the-job training for the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Conduct assessments as per OPITO standards to evaluate knowledge and skills at various stages.
- Facilitate documentation, resources, and facilities to meet accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate with Talent Development and Operations departments to meet training needs.
- Improve training processes for efficiency and timely certification.
- Maintain asset registers and maintenance logs for equipment and consumables.
- Prepare course documents, assessments, and schedules.
- Assist in budget preparation and resource optimization.
Skills, Experience & CertificationAcademic Qualification: Bachelor's/master's degree in Instrumentation.
Experience:
- 8-10 years operational experience in Instrumentation within Oil & Gas or relevant domain.
- Minimum 4-5 years training experience in Oil & Gas industry.
Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Certifications:
- OPTO level 3 Assessor Qualification or similar.
- Train the Trainer.
- CompEx certification (preferred but not mandatory).
