Job Description:

Job Title: Staff Registered Nurse

Qualification: GNM/ BSc Nursing

Area: Muscat, Oman

Experience: 3 to 10 Yrs

Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate, observe and tape-record the client's general health problems.
  2. Coordinate with doctors and other multidisciplinary healthcare specialists for creating and reviewing personalized care plans for patients.
  3. Address emotional and psychological needs of individuals and their families to create a harmonious workplace.
  4. Analyze patient's signs accurately, identify the condition properly, and take vital steps for his/her active recovery.
  5. Keep documents and records of patient's case histories, and monitor developments in their health conditions.
  6. Be alert and watchful on every aspect of individual care including diet, physical activities, and psychosocial interactions.
  7. Educate individuals and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention as required.
  8. Provide medications and treatments as prescribed.
  9. Evaluate medications and therapies of clients as suggested by their general health conditions and response to treatment.
  10. Prepare clients for medical exams and operations.
  11. Assist doctors and specialists during invasive and non-invasive interventions and procedures.
  12. Complete laboratory work and update the team about the client's condition during anesthesia as indicated.
  13. Provide a sanitary and safe workplace in accordance with healthcare procedures and interventions.
  14. Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulations, and maintain accurate medical records.
