Main Activities

  1. Workshop Activities: Perform pump failure analysis, test bench operations, elastomer compatibility checks, and mechanical/electrical equipment servicing under supervision. Manage storage, reporting, and delivery of used pumps. Support PCP (Progressive Cavity Pump) assembly, including work order preparation, tracking, and recording data. Create pump assembly and conversion records in the X3 system. Follow up with suppliers on quality documentation. Update test reports in the PPS (Pump Performance System) and extract delivery reports for documentation. Ensure adherence to procedures and standards. Coordinate shipment and conduct servicing of surface and downhole equipment. Perform routine maintenance of workshop tools.
  2. Inventory: Assist in stock control, maintain good housekeeping in storage areas.
  3. Field Services (Under Supervision): Install, commission, monitor, optimize, troubleshoot PCP systems; perform preventive and corrective maintenance; ensure fluid levels; report with documentation; manage equipment and service tickets; perform other delegated tasks as instructed by the Field Engineer.
  4. QHSE: Implement and monitor QHSE policies; ensure safety and environmental compliance; conduct training; support operational excellence; organize QHSE meetings; maintain KPIs; conduct audits; review HSE observations; ensure employee training; serve as first aider and fire warden; lead emergency drills; conduct safety meetings; promote best practices; identify hazards and communicate risks.
  5. Others: Maintain professionalism and respect; observe teamwork.

Profile: Organized, positive attitude, customer-focused, honest, autonomous, committed. Languages: Good English skills. Technical Skills: Mechanical skills required, ability to analyze, prepare, and follow actions. Education & Experience: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, 2-5 years in PCP workshop and QHSE, PCP experience a plus. Certifications: ROP driving license. Location: Nizwa, Oman.
