PYP Homeroom Teacher

Location: Finland Oman School, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Finland Oman School is looking for a passionate PYP Homeroom Teacher to lead a primary classroom using the IB Primary Years Programme. The ideal candidate will support inquiry-based learning, foster student growth, and create a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·Plan and deliver IB PYP-aligned lessons

·Foster a safe, inclusive, and inquiry-driven classroom

·Track and report student progress

·Communicate with parents and colleagues

·Report to the PYP Coordinator

·Support student well-being and development

·Participate in school events and meetings

Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

·Minimum 2 years of teaching experience (PYP preferred)

·Native speakers or non-natives with IELTS minimum score 6, excellent English communication skills

·IB training or certification is a plus

·Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the Finnish education system
