Equation Developer

We have an urgent requirement for Equation Developer - AS400 development and RPGLE/CLLE is required for one of our banking clients in Oman.

1. Strong experience in RPGLE/CLLE is a must to apply for this role.
2. Strong experience in AS400 development tools is required.
3. Strong experience in Equation API development (H56, H46, etc.) is essential.
4. Strong experience in MQ programming is a must.
5. Strong banking domain experience is required.
6. The resource should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in AS400 development, with a proven track record of successful implementations.
7. Strong expertise in RPGLE, CLLE, QMQRY, SDA, RLU, DDS, and other AS400 tools is essential for efficient development and troubleshooting.
8. The resource should have in-depth experience with Equation API development, including but not limited to H56, H46, and other related APIs, ensuring seamless system integrations.
9. Solid understanding of core Equation modules, such as Customer, Account, Loans, and other financial services components, is a key requirement.
10. Extensive experience in MQ programming, including expertise in channel programming, is required for secure and efficient messaging.
11. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, designing, programming, modifying, developing, and implementing complex applications and software products.
12. Proven ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and complete programs, while conducting thorough system and application tests to ensure quality.
13. Ability to translate detailed project specifications and procedures into logical flow charts and effectively convert them into coding using appropriate computer languages.
14. Willingness to quickly adapt to the working environment and collaborate with business teams to develop innovative and customized features for software products and services.
15. Experience in performing comprehensive application testing, including System Integration Testing (SIT), to ensure data integrity and functional correctness.
16. Proficient in applying industry best practices and standards in coding to enhance software quality, performance, and maintainability.
17. Ability to work effectively within medium to large-sized teams, demonstrating strong collaboration and communication skills.
