Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a PLC Engineer based in Muscat. The PLC Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, testing, and commissioning PLC and SCADA systems for various industrial and manufacturing applications. Daily tasks include troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of existing systems, providing technical support and training to clients, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. The role also involves collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver project objectives within deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in designing, programming, and troubleshooting PLC and SCADA systems
  • Minimum Experience: 4 to 6 Years with products from Siemens, Rockwell, and Schneider Electric
  • Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements in automation and instrumentation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • Experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
