Site Civil Engineer at EJAZ CREATIVE STUDIO will be working on managing and controlling the works of the company projects. The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for managing on-site teams, performing QA/QC tasks on a daily basis, ensuring everyone on site follows health and safety regulations, monitoring all subcontractors, and issuing reports for management and relevant stakeholders regarding project progress. The Site Civil Engineer must emphasize the ability to work within a team and meet project objectives and timelines.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Managing the construction process and coordinating with all parties involved in the project.
  2. Overseeing all subcontractors and reporting directly to the project manager.
  3. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and add value engineering.
  4. Overseeing the construction work to ensure no delays occur to the project.
  5. Managing day-to-day site activities, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of subcontractors.
  6. Performing accurate quantity take-off and understanding material specifications.
  7. Enforcing health and safety regulations on site.
  8. Working closely with consultants to ensure all work is approved by the consultant and adheres to the approved set of drawings.
  9. Preparing daily reports for relevant stakeholders to track project progress.
  10. Conducting quality assurance/quality control tasks and issuing all legal documents for the projects.
  11. Implementing a sustainable procurement plan to ensure all materials arrive at the site in a timely manner.
  12. Managing weekly meetings with subcontractors to ensure all parties are aligned.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
