We are looking for a Finance Manager to assist and handle all financial management aspects for the company.

The Finance Manager role and responsibilities are:

  • Overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance department
  • Oversight of the month-end process including ensuring the completion of the general ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and production of the P&L statements
  • Developing long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Budgeting and forecasting for the business
  • Liaising with external auditors and tax agents
  • Looking into strengthening current internal control and process improvement
  • Completion of the commentary around variance to budget
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Preparing the annual statutory accounts
  • Managing the company's financial systems
  • Providing commentary and analysis around the company's performance to the management team
  • Providing financial advice to managers regarding initiatives to improve the company's financial performance
  • Ensure tight cost control and management of all costs in the P&L.
  • Coordinate and review monthly management financial reporting package, KPIs, and take appropriate action to drive improvement.
  • Work with department heads/managers to manage sites annual budget including revenue/direct margin, EBITDA or CAPEX level.
  • Drive a focus on optimizing cash flow throughout the corporate financial team.
  • Participate in the Commercial discussions for the business by reviewing, monitoring and advising the Sales & Legal teams of the commercial risks and costing/pricing levels during bidding and execution stages.
  • Manage Investments and stakeholders/ shareholders requirements.
  • Work in obtaining bank finance facilities.

Minimum Qualifications and requirements:

  • Oman experienced and living in Oman
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field with 7 years of relevant experience
  • ACCA certified
  • Experience in quickbooks, tally and other financial software's
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Strong financial reporting and tax experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to solve complex issues
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using budgeting, forecasting and reporting tools
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, investment offerings, and portfolio management techniques.
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling astute investment choices
