As an HSE Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all operations align with health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will work closely with operations teams, drivers, and management to promote a strong safety culture, conduct risk assessments, and enforce compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. HSE Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and regulations across operations.
    • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards.
    • Monitor and audit workplace conditions, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Develop and update safety management systems to align with industry best practices.
    • Conduct thorough investigations of incidents, near-misses, and workplace accidents.
    • Identify root causes and develop corrective and preventive action plans.
    • Maintain accurate HSE records and report safety performance metrics to management.
  2. Training & Safety Culture Development:
    • Deliver HSE training programs, toolbox talks, and safety inductions to employees and contractors.
    • Conduct behavior-based safety observations and implement corrective actions.
    • Foster a positive safety culture by engaging employees and encouraging reporting of unsafe conditions.
  3. Emergency Preparedness & Response:
    • Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management exercises.
    • Ensure the availability and functionality of emergency response equipment.
    • Provide guidance on incident response procedures and first aid requirements.
  4. Environmental Protection & Sustainability:
    • Promote environmental awareness and ensure compliance with regulations.
    • Conduct environmental impact assessments and recommend sustainable practices.
    • Support initiatives to minimize the company's carbon footprint and energy consumption.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement & Continuous Improvement:
    • Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and regulatory bodies on HSE matters.
    • Support audits and inspections by external regulatory authorities.
    • Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience

·Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

·NEBOSH certification (IGC or higher) is mandatory.

·Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HSE, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Transportation sector.

·Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.

·Experience in accident investigation, risk assessments, and auditing.

·Excellent communication and leadership skills.

·Ability to work in high-risk environments and adapt to changing site conditions.
