Instrument Project Engineer

• Plan, organise and Execute Engineering PM and CM for PCD-IT equipment
• Respond to PCD P1 and P2 call out after working hours if needed to check issues related to PCD Security and advise the remediation plan in accordance to OmanLNG procedures
• Update PCD documents which are required to be updated as a result of routine / project such as PCD inventory, Manual backup logs, restoration logs, users auditing logs, routine checklists etc.
• Support in preparing the PCD design specifications and drawings for projects related to PCD cybersecurity projects.
• Track Planned Maintenance (PM) execution and align with related stakeholders.
• Support in raising awareness on PCD Cybersecurity to OmanLNG PCD Community.
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with HSE policy and procedures.
• Initiate and develop specific work instructions and inspection & testing schedules to ensure section compliance. Contributes to the Projects department quality assurance system.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, cost tracking reports and issue monthly financial a physical reports per project.
• Introduce systems and tools to the complex that will continuously and where possible in a step change improve the availability of the complex.
• Undertake regular follow-up on the status of all projects assigned and advice the mitigation plan.

Education: Graduate with BSc in engineering science (Instrument, electronics)

Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in oil and gas industry (minimum 2 years of experience for Sr. Project Engineer)

Specific Skills:

• English language read, write and speaking to IELTS level 4
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve problems in his field or discipline.
• Experience of projects scope definition, cost & benefit calculation, projects execution & implementation plans, Commissioning and Post implementation review.
• Critical thinking and ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
