Role Purpose

To analyze and troubleshoot network communication failures and bottlenecks, and to process experience in the installation, design, management, and support activities of LAN and WAN networks. The role requires knowledge of routing, switching, security implementation, and related technologies.

Minimum Role Requirements
  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Experience: 6-8 years
  • Gather business requirements and architect, document, and implement network solutions that meet enterprise standards
  • Proactively manage and optimize network systems; interface with vendors for support
  • Supervise the installation of new physical connectivity solutions
  • Coordinate with engineering on system expansions and with internal departments to develop production roadmaps
  • Provide timely status updates to the team leader
  • Optimize LAN/WAN performance using reports and monitoring applications in a 24/7 environment
  • Strive to meet established SLAs
  • Participate in cross-functional technical projects involving network technology
  • Provide second-level support for problem diagnosis, assisting third-level support, operational staff, engineering, and sales teams
  • Act as the customer technical focal point and establish network operational standards
  • Monitor contracts, prepare business cases, scope of work, RFT, RFP, and manage payments to optimize operational costs
  • Possess thorough knowledge of voice and data communication equipment and tools; manage QoS in active network infrastructure
  • Proficient with Cisco, Fortinet, HP, Huawei, F5, or similar vendors
  • Provide on-site engineering support and handle specialized networking tools and equipment
  • Skilled in designing and enforcing modern TCP/IP networks
  • Understand best practices for enterprise IP solutions
  • Expert in configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, and debugging network issues
