Role Description

Land Surveyor specifically for OHL (Overhead Line) work at the BISAT site, including the urgency and requirement to use GPS systems.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Surveying / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in OHL transmission line projects.
  • Proficiency in Total Station, GPS/DGPS, Theodolite, Auto Level, and associated software.
  • Software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS tools, survey data processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct site surveys, route alignment, and profiling for 33kV / 132kV / 400kV OHL transmission lines.
  • Use Total Station, GPS (DGPS/RTK), Auto Level, and other modern surveying equipment.
  • Mark and set out tower/pole locations, guy points, and access roads based on design drawings.
  • Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to ensure proper execution of foundation and tower erection activities.
  • Prepare survey reports, topographic maps, cross-section and longitudinal profiles.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of field data, benchmarks, and control points.
  • Perform as-built surveys after construction to validate execution against design.
  • Assist in resolving any land or alignment-related issues during construction.
  • Ensure work complies with DCRP/OETC standards and HSE regulations.
