Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Urban Planner located in Muscat. The Urban Planner will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing land use plans and programs that help create communities, accommodate growth, and revitalize physical facilities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting field investigations, analyzing data, reviewing site plans, collaborating with government officials, and preparing reports on various urban development projects.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Urban Planning and Regional Planning
  • Skills in Environmental Planning and Land Use Planning
  • Proficient in Planning techniques, methods, and tools
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the education sector is a plus
