Home Economics / Life Skills Teacher

Location: Finland Oman School, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman

Finland Oman School is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Home Economics / Life Skills Teacher to teach practical life skills such as nutrition, cooking, budgeting, and basic home management. The ideal candidate will engage students through hands-on learning while promoting responsibility, independence, and healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:

·Deliver engaging, hands-on home economics lessons

·Teach nutrition, cooking, hygiene, and budgeting

·Ensure a safe and organized classroom

·Assess student progress and promote life skills

·Encourage teamwork and responsibility

·Support school events and collaborate with staff

Requirements:

·Bachelor's degree in Home Economics or Life Skills Education, or a related field

·Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience

·Strong practical knowledge in nutrition, food safety, and household management

·Native speakers or non-natives with IELTS minimum score 6, excellent English communication skills

·Experience in international or IB schools is an advantage
