Mud Logger

* Mud Sampling at the end of the last circulation period preceding the logging operations.

* Monitor, record, and maintain rig operation parameters.

* Provide logging services through online programs.

* Gather usual information: "Driller's" depth, last casing shoe depth, etc.

* Maintain and edit database of data.

* Measure resistivity of mud and filtrate samples using a portable resistivity meter.

* Assist Unit Manager (Data Engineer) with high-level practical technical skills and perform as a crew leader.

* Manage data communication procedures.

* Control well filling/mud return during trips, casing, and electrical logging operations.

* Detect drilling breaks immediately.

* Calculate True Vertical Depth and enter data into the database.

* Update logs and recordings, indicating depth, calibrations, and relevant annotations. Ensure scales on recorder charts are identified each shift.

* Complete site forms and documents as instructed by the CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE.

* Prepare Mud Logging reports and handle printing.

* Generate reports: Daily, Safety, Unit Equipment, Inventory, and Material Requests.

* Collect samples at determined frequencies (e.g., every 5-10m, and every 2-5m in zones of interest).

* Analyze carbonate content (calcimetry and dolomimetry).

* Pack and mark drill cuttings, cores, and fluid samples for dispatch according to CLIENT REPRESENTATIVE's instructions.

* Contribute to health and safety of the working environment.

* Obtain necessary work permits in compliance with regulations.

* Read and understand the Company HSE Manual and policies; adhere to instructions at all times.

* Attend annual safety meetings on rig site.

* Understand, know, and be responsible for firefighting procedures, chemical safety, and environmental safety.
