Equation Specialist – Finastra

Key Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience in Equation support, IBM iSeries or AS400 administration, with the ability to handle L2 issues independently. (MUST)
• Proficiency in SQL database administration. (MUST)
• Experience with Equation business functionalities or functional-side requirements such as product setup, parameter configuration, or business process alignment. (MUST)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure all Equation processes are operational.
2. Resolve Equation cases and log cases in the Misys portal.
3. Test and install new patches.
4. Identify new services and modules.
5. Manage system upgrades.
6. Configure and manage parameters.
7. Support the end-of-day processing cycle.
8. Extract data for third-party solutions.
9. Provide reports and files as needed.
10. Build new units and support all IT departments from the core banking perspective.
11. Ensure all activities comply with the bank's policies, procedures, and standards.
12. Participate in related initiatives and projects, or other duties as assigned by management.
