We are seeking a Senior OS Developer I to design and implement high-performance, reliable system-level software solutions. This position demands deep technical knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize operating system features to ensure high performance and system stability.
- Develop kernel modules, device drivers, and other low-level software components.
- Partner with hardware teams to integrate and validate OS components.
- Diagnose and resolve advanced system-level issues and bugs.
- Lead and participate in code reviews, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for designs, processes, and project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in systems programming or OS development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and in-depth understanding of operating system internals.
- Expertise in Linux or Windows kernel architecture.
- Proven analytical and debugging capabilities.
- Ability to mentor peers and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
- Certification in OutSystems development is required.
