Job Description

1. Drilling Operations

  • Accurately execute drilling tasks based on project specifications
  • Collaborate with equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate environmental and operational risks

2. Equipment Maintenance

  • Conduct daily maintenance and safety checks of drilling equipment
  • Respond to common equipment faults and support complex repairs

3. Blasting Support

  • Implement drilling patterns and coordinate with blasting engineers
  • Perform borehole inspections prior to charging
  • Perform borehole inspections after charging and blasting
  • Address and rectify problems as needed

4. Other Duties

  • Follow supervisor's instructions and complete assigned tasks responsibly

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in industrial drilling, preferably in mining or blasting operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic repair skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow safety protocols
  • Familiarity with drilling rig systems and site safety procedures
  • Team-oriented, disciplined, and responsive to instructions
  • Willingness to work in Sohar, Oman
