Librarian

Librarian

We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to join our team in Salalah. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, cataloguing materials, and assisting patrons with their research needs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a library setting, strong organizational skills, and excellent customer service abilities. This is a full-time position with a salary of $900 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials
- Catalogue new materials using the library's system
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Provide reference services to patrons in person and over the phone
- Maintain an organized and clean library environment
- Plan and coordinate events and programs for library patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library management systems is a plus
