Product Manager - Cloud Native

About the Role

This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

  • Lead the lifecycle of product development by reviewing priorities and goals for products you are responsible for.
  • Work closely with engineering leads to oversee product development process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, marketing, and sales to address common challenges across projects.
  • Conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities.
  • Develop your team through coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Establish KPIs for project status reporting and communicate it across the organization.
  • Drive execution excellence through continuous feedback and improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies to create and maintain high performing teams.
  • Contribute to the success of our sales team in winning new opportunities.
Requirements
  • Seasoned product management experience in technical domains related to open source software in cloud native landscape.
  • Experience designing or managing software operations for large scale distributed systems.
  • Good understanding of cloud native technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker containers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements in software operations.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive their execution to excellence.
  • Passion for writing about technologies and experience in developer marketing.
  • A strong work ethic and personal interests aligned with open source philosophy.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with CNCF projects, identity or observability systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and passion for future of technology.
  • Have a sense of ownership and take responsibility for product's success and team's success.
  • Be a problem solver and demonstrate visionary leadership.
