Truck Driver - Muscat, Oman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations within the city. Your main duty will be to operate the truck in compliance with all traffic laws and transportation guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate the assigned truck in compliance with all traffic laws and transportation guidelines
- Transport goods and materials from one location to another within Muscat
- Inspect the truck before and after each trip, reporting any issues or malfunctions immediately
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and departure, fuel consumption, and mileage
- Adhere to company policies regarding load weight limits and secure cargo properly to prevent damage
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely deliveries
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times
- Follow all safety procedures while loading, unloading, and transporting goods

Requirements:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver, preferably in a similar role in Muscat or surrounding areas
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and transportation guidelines
- Ability to read maps and navigate efficiently through city streets
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination for loading/unloading cargo as needed
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to meet delivery deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent education required

Salary:
The salary for this position is 900$ per month.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position that requires working flexible hours including weekends. The successful candidate must have their own accommodation in Muscat as it is not provided by the company. However, we do provide visa sponsorship for foreign workers.
