Role Description

This is a full-time onsite role for a Software Tester at Al Madina Development & Supply LLC. The Software Tester will be responsible for test execution, analyzing software, and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios.

• Perform tests on software usability.

• Writes, edits, and debugs computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.

• Analyze performance of programs and take action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with users and approval of supervisor.

• Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance.

• Confer with users to gain understanding of needed changes or modifications of existing programs. Resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.

• Test the software to ensure the code is correct, fixing ('debugging') errors where they occur, and rerunning and rechecking the program until it produces the correct results.

• Working with trainers and technical writers to develop user support materials.

• Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed.

• Document code consistently throughout the development process by listing a description of the program, special instructions, and any changes made in database tables on procedural, modular and database level.

• Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

• Other responsibilities management decides based on company needs.
