The Opportunity

Due to the school's continued growth, we are seeking to appoint an inspiring Teacher of Psychology to start in August 2025. The successful candidate will be able to make a significant contribution in helping establish the Psychology Department for Cheltenham Muscat as the best in the city. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong teacher to become part of the team that will establish Cheltenham Muscat as the leading school in Oman.

The Person

We are looking for a committed teacher who is passionate about their work and motivated by the opportunity to inspire our wonderful students. The successful candidate will have high expectations of themselves and their students, both in the classroom and beyond, with a positive outlook and the ability to build strong relationships with all members of our school community. Please note that candidates must have at least 3 full years of relevant teaching experience in order to obtain a work permit to teach in Oman.

Package Details

The post attracts a competitive salary and benefits package appropriate for the experience, skills and personal circumstances of the successful candidate and will include:

Three satisfactory professional references will also be required. If successful and if applicable, for visa purposes applicants will need to supply relevant degree certificates, university transcripts and proof of having been a 'full time' student. These documents will need to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Oman Embassy in the applicant's home country. Our HR team can support applicants in completing this process.
