The Electrical Inspector role is a critical position in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained in electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough inspections to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Identifying and reporting electrical deficiencies and non-conformities.
  • Reviewing electrical designs, drawings, and documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Witnessing and approving electrical tests and commissioning activities to guarantee their integrity.
  • Preparing comprehensive inspection reports and maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • Collaborating with project teams, contractors, and clients to resolve electrical issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (B.E. Electrical) is mandatory for this role.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience as an Electrical Inspector or in a similar position within the electrical construction industry.
  • Expertise in international and local electrical codes and standards, such as IEC, NFPA, and relevant Omani regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, installations, testing, and safety procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address electrical issues effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical information clearly and collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Candidates available in Oman will be given preference due to geographical considerations.
