Cloud Operations Expert

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Operations Expert to lead our team in designing and implementing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux networking, routing, firewalls, internet transit, and large-scale/bandwidth networking.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive cloud strategy.
  • Maintain and update technical design roadmaps and guidelines for System Reliability Engineers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to build highly standardized and automated operations.
  • Provide expert advice on technology, reliability, and resilience to management.
  • Lead technical decisions to ensure scalable operations.
  • Collaborate with security teams to set best practices and mitigate threats.
  • Achieve automation and reuse across the organization.
  • Design and implement service architecture, documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Analyze incidents and improve processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic record from high school and university.
  • Undergraduate degree in a technical subject or an alternative path.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Track record of outstanding results and going above expectations.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
  • Practical experience with Linux networking and large-scale systems.
  • Experience dealing with production outages and incident response.
  • Passion for open-source software and technologies.
