About the Financial Management Role:

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the financial health of our brands. The Accountant will work closely with operations teams to enhance financial efficiency and provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records for all business units (F&B and Fashion)
  • Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Analyze data to identify cost-saving and growth opportunities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Accounting & Compliance

The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Omani tax regulations, VAT, and financial reporting standards. This includes managing accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and monitoring cash flow. Additionally, the role involves liaising with auditors and supporting during audits and financial reviews.

Operational Accounting

The Accountant will monitor inventory, supplier payments, and COGS across F&B and fashion operations. This also includes supporting financial software implementation and system improvements.

Collaboration & Internal Support

The Accountant will work with operations teams to enhance financial efficiency and assist HR with payroll, reconciliations, and benefits calculations. They will also provide financial insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and Omani regulations
  • Experience working across multi-brand or multi-unit businesses is a plus
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
