Topographic Mapping Expert

This position involves supporting licensed land surveyors with measuring and mapping land features for construction projects. As a Geomatics Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining survey equipment, analyzing survey data, and creating detailed reports and drawings.

• Work alongside licensed land surveyors in conducting field surveys, measurements, and mapping
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment for optimal performance
• Process and analyze survey data using computer software
• Develop high-quality reports and drawings based on collected data
• Follow safety guidelines on construction sites
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Basic knowledge of computer software such as AutoCAD or GIS preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
