Treasury Controller

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Gulf Air Group. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing and controlling all finance activities at the station, including authorizing, evaluating, and implementing corporate finance decisions.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in a similar position, with expertise in expenditure and revenue accounting. A university degree or equivalent, along with professional accounting qualifications, is highly desirable. Fluency in written and spoken English is also essential.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and control all finance activities at the station, including authorizing, evaluating, and implementing corporate finance decisions
• Plan, organize, direct, and control the activities of all subordinates at the station, ensuring high accounting standards, protecting company assets, minimizing costs, and setting up modern accounting systems
• Implement and monitor internal controls in all areas of the station, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for the audit rating of the station, focusing on finance areas
• Liaise with department heads to provide adequate business support for their areas
• Exercise supervisory functions and financial authority established by management for the position
