Electrical Supervisor - Key Role in Luxury Hospitality

In this critical role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our engineering department. As an Electrical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include training and supervising a team of engineers, scheduling and planning procedures to maintain efficiency and productivity.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Train and supervise a team of engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Assist in planning and implementing procedures to optimize the efficiency and productivity of the engineering department.
  • Compile monthly consumption reports on heat, light, and power, including electricity, gas, steam, and water.
  • Monitor engineer activity, productivity, and utilization rates to identify areas for improvement.
  • Report any downtime or delays in task completion to the Engineering Manager.
  • Manage day-to-day tasks and job assignments for the team.
  • Maintain working areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Ensure all staff adhere to Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation.
  • Uphold LQA standards and guest comments.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and/or apprenticeship in electrical disciplines with at least 2 years' experience in a similar setting.
  • Technical skills include the ability to analyze and design projects and maintain full knowledge of engineering-related products and services used in resorts.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English, with the ability to live and work in remote locations and travel as required.
