Executive Chef Opportunity

Seeks a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef to join our culinary team in an exciting opportunity.

This role involves collaborating with the culinary management team to drive menu development, promote events, maintain presentation standards, and ensure food quality aligns with agreed authenticity and quality.

  • Collaborate with the culinary management team in menu development and promotional events.
  • Maintain and enforce plating and presentation standards throughout all dining areas.
  • Ensure food preparation meets agreed authenticity and quality standards.
  • Identify and report areas for improvement in food and beverage quality.
  • Promote teamwork through effective interdepartmental communication and collaboration.
  • Manage daily ingredient ordering and requisitioning to meet operational requirements.
  • Provide leadership and support to kitchen colleagues in achieving exceptional service standards.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly staff schedules and coordinate assignments to meet operational demands.
  • Enforce strict adherence to food safety standards as per local regulations and internal policies.
  • Supervise kitchen cleanliness and maintenance reports to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Ensure food displays are safe, creative, and meet presentation standards to enhance guest experience.
  • Maintain grooming and appearance standards for all team members to represent the establishment positively.
  • Handle VIP guest and special dietary needs personally to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction following industry benchmarks and best practices.
  • Communicate workplace rules and policies to team members and provide regular training on new concepts and techniques.
  • Conduct staff counselling and disciplinary actions as needed to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Attend and contribute to daily and weekly team meetings to drive collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct regular training on dishes and cooking techniques to stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices.
  • Share expertise on specialty cuisine with team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage all food safety administration for the restaurant including record-keeping and reporting.
  • Stay informed on current food trends to keep cuisine competitive and innovative.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Culinary Management Team.
